We have started our daughter in the SOTA program from the beginning. Hailey started out with voice and piano. I must say she loves going and enjoys it. I am beyond grateful that they have began the Performing Arts. We will definitely have Hailey return for the Spring and she will be trying out the Musical Theater class. We are super excited to see the growth that will take place within Hailey’s God given talents.

I am so thrilled that GCO SOTA has given my daughter the ability to learn the language of music. This is not only a skill she will always have, but it is also a treasure that enriches her life. She has accomplished more in a few short months than she even realized was possible, and we have SOTA to thank for that. Music lessons go beyond just learning an instrument: they help children discover a whole new world of creativity, problem-solving, team-oriented collaboration, confidence, and discipline.

Gateway Community Outreach School of the Arts is an asset to Staten Island and beyond.  The skills these students acquire through the school will benefit all aspects of their lives in the future.  I attended their first recital and was impressed with what they have learned in only a few months. As an adult student, it has been encouraging to pursue private violin lessons that fit into my schedule. I look forward to taking future lessons.

We are very blessed to send our son to Gateway’s School of The Arts program. Our instructor Jonathan is very talented, patient, and very understanding. The whole program is well organized and also accommodating. The recital after just a few months was truly inspiring to watch. Music is truly a beautiful way to express the talents that everyone has within them. They inspired me so much that I also joined the program. What a great way to continue to add knowledge in our lives by the gift of music.
